We are committed to providing opportunities for people with a primarily physical disability to develop a range of options in the area of personal development, training, employment and greater inclusion in the community generally. Our service is based on partnership, dignity, respect and the development of choice for those who use it.
Activities and programmes are supported in consultation with each service owner in line with the HSE New Directions policy. It proposes that 'day services' should take the form of individualised outcome-focussed supports to allow adults using services to live a life of their choosing in accordance with their own wishes, needs and aspirations.
Transport (if funded by HSE) may be provided on a limited basis to service owners within the catchment area who are unable to access public transport.
People with a primary physical disability who live within the catchment area of HSE CHO7 region.
Referrals to the service can be made through the individual, the individual’s parents or guardians, the HSE CHO7 Day Opportunities Service, their school, social worker and other such persons. Contact the centre directly for more details.
Future service users from the catchment area of Dublin 12 currently attending Enable Ireland schools in Sandymount. Other people with a primary physical disability from this catchment area not currently associated with Enable Ireland.
