Rathmore House has been specifically designed to cater for people with physical disabilities and it provides Dublin Adult Service Users with the opportunity to avail of short holiday breaks. When staying at Rathmore House visitors choose how they would like to spend their time.
Rathmore House is situated in the beautiful and idyllic countryside of Coolroe Great, County Wicklow, providing holidays (respite) for adult service users. It was bought in 2001 with funding from the HSE and has been extensively renovated to make it fully accessible for people with physical disabilities.
Whilst at Rathmore House, service users choose how they would like to spend their time. There are a range of in-house activities on offer, including beauty treatments, yoga, aroma therapy, reflexology and cookery lessons. Transport is available at all times so there are regular trips to the local cinema, shopping centre, bowling centre, restaurants and pubs.
Adult service users attending Dublin Adult Services can be referred to Rathmore House.
