Clare Adult Services
We provide day service activity programmes, both community and centre-based, including activities such as arts and crafts, health and wellbeing, music, cookery and independent living skills.
Enable Ireland Adult Services Clare provides services to 20 adults. The Adult Day service is relatively new in Clare. Over the last ten years, the services offered in the centre have developed and service users now have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of programmes.
We provide day service activity programmes, both community and centre-based, which include activities such as arts and crafts, health and wellbeing, music, cookery and independent living skills, horticulture, computers, and accessing other services within the local and wider community. We support service users to attend local college or other education services.We work through a person-centred approach with people who use the service having access to a key worker and developing a person-centred plan based on their needs and wishes.
We provide physiotherapy services, music therapy, and support to access the hydrotherapy service in Limerick. We provide transport to our service users to and from the centre daily as well as access to activities in the community.

School leavers over 18 years with physical and sensory disabilities are eligible for services.
You can get a referral from Occupational Guidance Officers in the HSE, The Derg Centre, Gortlandroe, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary. You can also get a referral from Disability Service
