James Brosnan Scholarship
Applications for the 2026 James Brosnan scholarship are now open.
Enable Ireland’s National AT Training Service offers annually the James Brosnan Scholarship, in memory of a man who was an expert AT user, journalist, powerful advocate, artist, Liverpool fan and all-round renaissance man.
This scholarship will enable the successful applicant to register for Enable Ireland’s Foundations in Assistive Techology course, accredited by Technological University, Dublin (TU Dublin), free of charge. This course is a Level 6 course, with 5 ECTs (European Credit Transfers). The standard course fee is €950.
This scholarship is open to Assistive Technology users or prospective users, who wish to upskill in this area, and who are also willing to share their Learning with others, through peer mentoring.
