Enable Ireland Strive Project aims to support service owners to move from their current living arrangements to newly built homes in the community. As part of the project Enable Ireland opened a City Centre Hub in 2022. This accessible hub is fantastically positioned in the centre of Limerick City for all Service Owners to drop in.

Introduction to the service

The City Centre Hub offers a location where Enable Ireland service owners can stop by when visiting the city and have access to the facilities they need, get help and support from staff, or simply drop in for a cup of tea and a chat. The Hub should allow our Service Owners greater access to Limerick City. The City centre Hub is staffed by the Strive team who have a particular focus on independent living skills and have a vast array of resources available and can signpost service owners on to other services in the City that can assist them with their goals.

Who is eligible for services?

School leavers aged over 18 years with primary physical and sensory disabilities are eligible for services.

How can I get a referral?

You can get a referral from the HSE Occupational Guidance Officers who are based in South west Wing, St. Joseph’s Hospital, Mulgrave Street for all Midwest referrals.
