The Enable Ireland Adult Day Service is located in Rathkeale and was opened in January 2021. We offer a day service five-days a week. We currently provide service to 7 adult with physical and sensory disabilities.
We provide a day service to school leavers over the age of 18. We also have a transport service to and from the day service. Activities are tailored to meet individual needs. Activities we provide is hydrotherapy pool, music therapy, physiotherapy services, multisensory room, art and craft, cookery, community integration and inclusion. Our day service is person-centredness with a holistic approach.
School leavers over 18 years of age and with primary physical and sensory disabilities are eligible for the service
You can get a referral from the HSE Occupational Guidance Officers who are based in South west Wing, St. Joseph’s Hospital, Mulgrave Street for all Midwest referrals.
