We offer an adult day service five days a week from our hub in Carrigaline. We currently provide services to 12 adults with physical and sensory disabilities.
We provide a person-centred day service to school leavers over the age of 18. We also have a transport service to and from the day service. Activities are tailored to meet each individual's needs and choices and vary from day to day. Activities we provide include swimming, Rinca (movement sessions), bowling, bingo, advocacy, art, cookery, circle of support, music and lots more. We also offer occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy and Assistive technology supports.
James Cripps attends Carrigaline day services. He was born in Cork city in 1974 and has spent his entire life defying he odds. His published autobiography tells the story of how he has lived his life to the full. Not only has he beaten the odds, he has flourished.
