Paralympic Rower, Katie O’Brien, attended Enable Ireland services when she was young.
At a workshop, Katie chatted with children who now attend Enable Ireland services in Galway. She spoke about her Paralympic journey and what wearing an ankle-foot orthosis (AFO) has meant for her throughout her life.
In this video, Katie shares what it’s been like for her living with a splint and how it's helped her excel at sport. Katie also provides her tips for getting used to wearing an AFO.
