Enable Ireland Arklow offers a day service under New Directions and includes an array of activities for the service owner to reach their full potential.

Staff at Enable Ireland Arklow work closely with the service owners to become more independent and to reach personal goals identified. The staff do this daily through activities such as community exploration, social inclusion through community collaboration, exercise, cooking, life skills, creative expression, horticulture, social trips and much more. Each service owner is assigned a keyworker to work with them closely on reaching goals they have set in their person-centered plan. Some examples of these goals include accessing public transport; cooking a meal; opening a bank account; using an ATM; take part in work experience; further education opportunities; and accessing local shops.
