Castleconnell Adults Hub

Located in the Co. Limerick village of Castleconnell, the Enable Ireland Adult Day Service opened in April 2017 and offers a non-residential 5-day/week service. We currently provide services to 18 Adults with physical and/or sensory disabilities.

Introduction to the service

We provide a model of service delivery that offers support to experience freedom and choice, which will lead to the “Good Things in Life.” These include having a say, freedom of movement, a sense of belonging and contribution. This is an individualized service that is designed and directed by the individual to the best of his or her ability; where the person’s choices and values are recognised and reflected in that service.

Who is eligible for services?

Any individual with a physical/and or sensory disability over the age of 18 years, with limited availability.

How can I get a referral?

Initial contacts regarding service provision can be made through the Local Health Office or Community Services Office. Contact Disability Services at (061) 461 136 or the Disability Services Directorate at (061) 461 360.

What is a hub?

The Castleconnell hub is a smaller centre located in the heart of Castleconnell with easy access to the local facilities and embedded in the local community.
